Our Commitment
We want Calx to be a fair, positive experience. We are committed to promoting responsible participation and to helping users who may be at risk of harm. Predicting should be treated as entertainment using money you can afford to lose — never as a way to make income or recover losses.
Golden Rules
- Only stake what you can afford to lose. Never use money meant for essentials.
- Set a budget before you start and stick to it.
- Don't chase losses. Trying to win back losses usually makes things worse.
- Take breaks. Step away regularly.
- Don't predict to escape stress or when upset.
- Keep it balanced with the rest of your life.
Tools to Help You Stay in Control
Calx provides tools to help you manage your participation. You can access these in your account settings:
- Deposit limits — set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you deposit.
- Activity history — review your deposits, predictions, and withdrawals at any time.
- Take a break — pause your account for a set period.
- Self-exclusion — close your account for an extended period or permanently. During self-exclusion you will not be able to deposit or place predictions.
To set a limit, take a break, or self-exclude, go to account settings or contact support. We will action self-exclusion requests as quickly as possible.
Age Restriction
Calx is strictly for those aged 18 and over. We take steps to prevent underage use and will close any account found to belong to a person under 18. If you know of an underage user, please contact us.
Are You at Risk? A Quick Self-Check
Answering "yes" to several of these may be a sign that participation is becoming a problem:
- Do you stake more than you can afford to lose?
- Do you try to win back money you have lost?
- Have you borrowed money or sold things to fund predictions?
- Have you lied about how much you stake?
- Does it cause you stress, or affect your work, sleep, or relationships?
- Do you find it hard to stop?
If this sounds familiar, consider setting a limit, taking a break, or self-excluding — and reaching out for support.
Where to Get Help
If you or someone you know may have a problem, support is available. We encourage you to speak with a qualified counsellor, your doctor, or a trusted person. For immediate emotional distress, contact a local mental-health support line.
[Insert current Sri Lankan support helpline(s) and any recognised problem-gambling support service here once confirmed. Keep these details up to date.]
Contact Us
For help with limits, breaks, or self-exclusion, contact [support@calx.lk] or use the in-app support channel. We treat these requests seriously and confidentially.
